Factors affecting employees’ salaries in Omani public sector

The study examines the effect of employees’ performance appraisal, gender, age and positionon salaries extra amounts received by employees during period 2011–2017 based on selectedsample from Ministry Social Developments in Oman. To achieve study’s objectives, studyexamines relationship among mentioned variables using analyses descriptive statistics, correlationanalysis multiple regressions. finds that appraisal has positive significanteffect salary extra. In presence position, this will be negativeand significant for negative insignificant amounts. As a starting pointfor future research, adds new empirical evidence to research body how enhance theperformance annual with their public sector.
